We have a first shift CNC Programmer/Machinist-Specialist position available. In this role you will be the technical liaison between our eningeers and our shop floors, as regards to all CNC equipment programming, set-up and tool/tooling selection and implementation necessary to produce Rocket Motor components through various techniques (deep draw, machining and fabrication). This position will report to the Engineering group.
80% Provide all necessary CNC Programming requirements across our floor with technically competent programs that ensure product repeatability and built-in quality. This will require close working relationships with Engineering (Design, manufacturing, tooling) and vendors involved with the supply of expendable processing materials.
10% Provides prototype machining, programming and tooling direction to bring new products on line.
10% Performs other related duties as assigned by supervision.

This position requires an Associates Degree in a related discipline or formal CNC Programming training or an Associates Degree equivalent and at least seven (7) years of CNC Programming experience in an active manufacturing environment.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Ability to speak, read and write in English is required (Spanish as a second language would be a plus).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
