We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Welder) with Tig and E. B. Welding of metal cylindrical pressure vessels.
In this role, you will be responsible for the manufacturing engineering of development and/or production programs, including application of Engineering procedures, experimental investigation, technical direction and coordination, conception and planning encountered in the manufacturing and fabrication of metal and/or non-metallic hardware.
25% - Develops manufacturing processes and methods required to efficiently utilize company equipment, technology and manpower assets to produce metal and/or non-metallic hardware using various materials/alloys.
30% - Provides necessary processes and directions, as needed, to perform weld preps and set-ups of equipment. Produces cylindrical pressure vessels using single and/or multi-welding applications.
30% - Prepares needed documentation for release through Configuration Management needed to support assigned program manufacturing responsibilities. Tracks processing trends and provides necessary analytical and experimental evaluations to resolve line processing problems to ensure quality control and attrition standards are met.
15% - Provides continuous technical guidance and training to less senior engineers and manufacturing support personnel to ensure technical capability and depth in this critical manufacturing area. Other assignments by management on engineering, proposal preparation, etc. as needed to ensure overall success in meeting plant goals.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Metal Processing and (2) years of related technical experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Requires a background and certifications in the Tig and E. B. Welding of metal cylindrical pressure vessels.
English fluency required. Ability to speak, read, write and translate English/Spanish, including technically, drawing dimensionals and spcifications is preferred.
Work place may include areas where chemical materials are encountered. May involve exposure to shop environment including variable noise levels. Must customarily have a high consciousness for personnel and
equipment safety. May be required to utilize a variety of personal protective equipment.
