We have a first shift opening for a Shipping/Receiving-Inventory Control Specialist. Excellent medical and dental benefits, pension plan, 401(k) with employer match, and more. In this role you will be responsible for all shipping and receiving and inventory control activities. This is a hands-on position, not a supervisory role.
45% Handles all aspects of shipping and receiving from small administrative and shop supply receipts to shipments of final products. Setting up best routings and maintaining necessary records through online use of Oracle system and/or manually as needed. Operates all material handling equipment.
45% Maintains raw material and piece parts stores. Performs status of inventory to include cycle counts. Pulls, stores and transfers items as required. Operates all material hauling equipment. Performs duties as needed in compliance with applicable procedures. Controls hazardous material issues. Maintains necessary records through use of online Oracle system.
5% Interfaces as required with all areas of our facility (Engineering, Production, Quality, Facilities and Management).
5% Performs other duties as directed.
Requirements:
"Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) with seven (7) years of directly related experience required.
Requires (or ability to obtain those not currently held) CDL with Hazardous Material Certification, current 49 CFR Certification.
Extensive knowledge of FAR Regulations, transport modes (air, rail, trucking, Fed-Ex and other typical carriers)required.
Must have a thorough knowledge of Interstate Commerece Commission and Public Ulitities Commission Rules and Regulations as pertains to transportation.
Must be knowledgeable of Hazardous Waste Material Handling practices and able to carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (requires U.S. Citizenship).
