Account Director - Music & Entertainment (Sports Marketing/Sales)

This position will work closely with the Vice President and Account Manager who oversee the strategy and entertainment marketing for our client. This person will work with key players from the client team, agency partners and studio partners to develop and manage programming for the Client and their affiliated brands. Position will have project management responsibilities and requires a desire to work as part of a team within a heavily matrixed organization. In addition, the position will require travel and on-site staffing for event, conferences and client meetings.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the development of traditional/non-traditional marketing strategy
  • Program concept and development across multiple brands and within the sports and entertainment portfolio
  • Serve as internal program lead to guide marketing programs and partnerships to approval
  • Event marketing development, management and execution (Project plans, Budget management, etc.)
  • Prepare written communications for various organizations/clients, including program overviews, execution guides, etc.
  • Liaison with client's other agency partners (advertising, media, online, etc)
  • Manage an event management team to deliver flawless program execution
  • Provide support for New Business lead generation and engagement to drive overall division success


    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5-10 years in account management
  • Experience in entertainment marketing and relationship with content partners (studios, producers, etc.)
  • Experience in online marketing, asset management and event marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experience managing a team and working in a collaborative environment
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
