Under the Center of Excellence, our IT Risk Transformation practice focuses on enterprise IT application assessment, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) technology assessment, IT Application and Tool Implementation. We deliver valuable insights and enable better business decisions through improved quality of information. IT Risk Management team members deliver world-class information technology advice as part of our broader risk and business improvement services. We provide services such as financial audit IT integration, third party reporting, IT Risk Advisory, information management and analysis and information security.

Engagements may be either assurance (attestation) and/or risk advisory in nature, and will vary considerably in size and complexity. IT Risk Transformation teams are designed for the dual purpose of strengthening internal controls and, in so doing, helping to improve IT and business performance. In addition to assurance-related engagements such as financial attestation and SAS 70 engagements, our IT risk advisory services focus on IT governance and effectiveness; IT program management and assurance; security and controls of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations; and business intelligence and information analysis.

Within EY's Center of Excellence, the Senior participates in and supervises multiple client engagement teams and assists in the facilitation of a process to advise clients to develop IT Governance, Risk and Compliance strategy and solutions. These solutions include helping our clients evaluate, define, implement and manage their technology risk, governance, regulatory compliance, and information security programs to achieve executive priorities and address business transformation changes.
Responsibilities Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to coordinate, plan and deliver IT Risk & Assurance Services projects which include GRC program design, performing current state assessments, future state design, GRC process re-engineering and enhancements, GRC tool and technology implementation, risk assessments, risk metrics and dashboarding, risk convergence, IT risk and control framework design, and integrated operational risk management projects.
Serve as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems. Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
To qualify, candidates must have: * a bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience * a degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline * a minimum of 1 years of experience working as an IT Risk or Security professional for a Fortune 500 company, public accounting firm or professional services firm * significant experience with CobiT, ISO027002, ITIL, FFIEC, GLBA, HIPPA, etc. * significant experience with GRC methodologies, tools and enablers (i.e. Archer, BWise, BPS, Chase Cooper, Paisley, etc.) * direct IT risk management experience * strong project management skills * advanced written and verbal communication skills * excellent leadership, teamwork and client service skills * demonstrated integrity within a professional environment Willingness and ability to travel 50%.
Certifications: CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA or CFE certification is strongly desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified within 1 year from the date of hire.
