Work to identify and address recurrent network performance issues. Lead in the analysis of various data sources within the performance triage process to identify and drive the root cause of customer impacting issues out of the network. Assist market engineers to properly troubleshoot and classify their sites for the rapid recognition/rapid restoral effort. Identify recurring failures impacting site performance and work with appropriate teams to drive these failures out of the network. Work with appropriate organizations to put in place processes and procedures that improve MTTR (mean time to repair) and MTBF (mean time between failures). Assist in monitoring network performance metrics and developing action plans to address performance issues. Provide BAU support for performance tools as well as assess new tool needs and work to design, integrate and deploy these new tools. Interface with many internal groups to accomplish goals.
- Highly motivated individual contributor engineer with strong technical skills.
- Experience on analyzing performance in 2G, 3G and 4G networks, voice and data, RAN and Core network.
