Position Summary:
Principle duties consist of assisting physicians in monitoring, collecting, and processing radiological and physiological data during diagnostic examinations and studies such as coronary angiograms, aortograms, and left ventricular angiograms. These studies involve operation of radiographic units that combine single-plane cinerafiography with TV-monitored fluorography, programmed and coordinated with automatic high-pressure contrast media injections system.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Completion of two year approved Radiologic Technician program.
Minimum Experience/Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab.
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
State ofCaliforniaCertificate as a Certified Radiologic Technologist and Radiological Technologist Fluoroscopy.
