Engineer Stress Support 1
Looking for Computer Aided Engineer (CAE). The candidate should have a strong Strength of Material and Finite Element Analysis Pre-/Post-processing (preferably with Patran/Nastran, Abaqus). Experience with 7-series airplane design utilizing ENOVIA/CATIA v5. Requires proficient analytical, writing, and communication skills, thorough knowledge of computer systems (i.e. application installation verification, use of email, and operating system experience.
Ability to comprehend complex software concepts, an understanding of C programming, database concepts, networking concepts, and Microsoft Windows operating ks under close supervision.

Technical• Aircraft Structure
Basic knowledge of aircraft structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes (e.g. non destructive testing, corrosion prevention)

• Computer Aided Design Tools
Basic knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), computer aided three dimensional interactive (CATIA), Mentor Graphics, Unigraphics). Able to manipulate data sets, (e.g., compare CATIA to measurement data, create stereo lithography files).
• Engineering Technical Info
Basic ability to read, understand and interpret engineering technical information (e.g., drawings, handbooks, industry standards and specifications).

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Other Job related information
A minimum of one year general CAD, CAE, or PDM experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is preferred. Should have experience in customer support.
