A leading post production visual effects company in Culver City is hiring for a Full-Time Senior Accountant. This will be a full-time position, with benefits.
This individual will report directly to the controller and be involved in all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting functions including month-end close, financial analysis, and internal reporting.
Duties & Oversight Include
• General Ledger--Assist with preparation of financial statements and reporting. Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts. Prepare reconciliations for assigned accounts and record related journal entries
• Manage/coordinate cash collections efforts
• Special Projects: Take on assigned projects to analyze operations, evaluate savings opportunities and effectuate change.
• Accounting for multiple entities.
• Accounting for foreign currency exchange, specifically Canadian Dollars.
• A/R, A/P, Bank Reconciliations, Commisions, and other general accounting duties.

Requirements:
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years experience minimum
• Proficient with Microsoft Office & Quickbooks
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to take initiative, problem solve independently, multi-task, prioritize, and work accurately and meeting deadlines while working in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written skills
