Description

Georgia-Pacific, Buena Park is currently hiring GENERAL LABORERS. This facility makes corrugated boxes. General laborers will be assigned to tasks that involve physical labor assembling boxes from raw material to finished product, making computer entries, and following safety and quality procedures. All applicants must meet the following criteria:
Committed to safety and organizational goals
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment as required
Ability to work in a hot, humid, noisy, and high volume machine production area
Ability to work 12 hour shifts, overtime, and weekends/holidays
Must be able to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, and stooping).
Mechanical aptitude in order to troubleshoot machine problems
Basic Computer skills
High school diploma or GED
Manufacturing experience preferred
Willing to work in a tobacco-free environment
Applicants must be available to work any of three production shifts (6:00am-2:00pm; 2:00 pm-10:00 pm; 10:00 pm-6:00am) and scheduled overtime, including occasional weekend work Applicants meeting the criteria above must successfully pass a pre-employment test, interview, background investigation and drug screening in order to qualify for full-time employment.
