QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Qualified Inspector and Inspector Specialist preferred- LIMS/ Test Experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Inspector Specialistis responsible for lay-up, curing, machining and testing of materials utilizing the tools and equipment necessary in a safe and appropriate manner within approved specifications and quality. · Print traveler and variety that QC sampling is correct; · Follow QC-BP for laminate/adhesive panel lay-up configuration; · Complete lay-up from start to bagging and leak detection; · Operate cure ovens and presses; · Operate etch tank and anodize units; · Operate saws, grinders and miscellaneous tools and equipments necessary for machining; · Use of LIMS and other programs as required in the execution of their job duties; · Perform fiber volume (acid digestion) testing; · Prime metal per procedure; · Operate RD1 Clarifier per SOP; · Maintain housekeeping Standard; · Follow company ruled and regulations; · Work safely.
The Inspector Specialist IIis responsible for lay-up, curing, machining and testing of materials utilizing the tools and equipment necessary in a safe and appropriate manner within approved specifications and quality. · All Inspector and Inspector Specialist essential duties; · Set-up and operate all mechanical test equipment; · Operate various measurement instrumentation; · Identify failure modes for standard test configurations; · Perform advanced manual calculations from test charts; · Train Bond Prep Inspectors and Inspector Specialists.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent.
