Java Developer
- 2 Years of experience in developing J2EE web applications
- Hands on experience in Webservices, Servlet, Java, XML, XSLT & PL/SQL, RAD, Websphere, Oracle, Unix is a Plus
- Hands on experience in providing application maintenace and production support
- Possess problem solving and analytical skills, including the ability to create sophisticated design solutions to complex problems
- Communicate with the project team throughout all stages of design, Manage time effectively, and work on multiple project timelines simultaneously in a demanding deadline driven environment .
Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Information Systems
2 years of information systems experience.
Demonstrated Technical (e.g. , programming) and/or analytical skills, including the ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
PC literacy, including desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, e-mail, etc.)
Strong knowledge of information systems concepts
Working knowledge of applicable methodologies, tools, standards and procedures
Good interpersonal skills
Critical thinking, decision-making and leadership aptitudes

This position is responsible for performing programming and/or analysis duties in support of various phases of systems life cycle. The incumbent demonstrates the ability to work independently, and typically requires close supervision on new tasks.
Works as a team member on intermediate size projects of average complexity under the direction and supervision of senior applications staff and management. Occasionally leads other applications team members in selected project activities.
Completes assigned technical tasks on time (e.g., analysis, design, development, testing, training, maintenance, production support, documentation, etc.).
Performs project management activities such as planning, sizing, and scheduling.
Performs problem analysis and resolution activities to provide effective systems solutions.
Proactively communicates status reports and issues to manager. Successfully completes all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with Performance Agreement goals and objectives.
