We have an immediate opening for a Lead Java Developer to work as part of our growing Java/J2EE development team. Our Lead Java Developer work closely with internal customers to help establish business requirements and solve business issues. Candidates for this position will need to be able to code, test and debug programs and assist in the development of major system modules. This position also works on complex subroutines, creates complex processes and develops technical skills across multiple disciplines. Candidates must have prior experience leading the team of developers as well as projects.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 - 7 years with JAVA/J2EE Experience in OOAD principles and methodologies Knowledge or exposure to modern Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Flex, FDD and XP PL/SQL skills Solid experience with the use of a dynamic scripting language such as JavaScript, Perl, Ruby or Groovy Knowledge /experience with Internet technologies/protocols (e.g. HTML, XML, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP and SMTP) Knowledge and experience with unit testing practices desired Exposure to Spring (or other lightweight container) Exposure to Hibernate or other ORM tool Knowledge and experience with MVC frameworks and familiarity with different view technologies (JSP, JSF, Velocity) highly desired
