The successful candidate reports directly to the Manager of Machines & Process Maintenance and is responsible for the following:
- Collecting manufacturing machine tool and equipment performance data, analyzing data to determine problem or issue root causes, and designing/implementing fail proof solutions to mitigate issue re-occurrence.
- Work with and directing equipment manufacturer field support staff as required to determine complex root cause and corrective actions for extreme machine tool problems.
- Developing and documenting process standard work and training materials.
- Training hourly staff to be proficient and independent machine tool maintenance, assessment and repair technicians.
- Conducting business analysis and trade studies regarding the cost of repair, materials, administration and labor.
- Develop process and equipment improvements recommendation proposals to increase machine tool and process equipment durability and uptime.
- Developing process related presentations to communicate operational status and process change proposals to relevant leadership, staff and customers.
This role will require interfacing with machine tool operators, production customers, and process representatives for Quality, Product Support and Property Administration.
The position will report directly to the Manager of Machines & Process Maintenance.

This job requires a certificate for a machinery analysis tool (i.e. Infrared, Vibration, Oil analysis, or similar).
A high level of proficiency in the application of advanced/predictive maintenance process tools to a wide variety of machine tools and technologies is required.
Technologies included electrical and hydraulic power systems, CNC controls, applicable calibration and mechanical systems.
Experience working with bargaining unit represented employees is desirable. An understanding of SAP is desirable.

Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
Should be proficient in Microsoft Power Point and Excel.
