NDT Level II Inspector must have skills and knoweldge to set up and standarize equipment, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate test for acceptance or rejection and doucment test results. Perform repetitive types of magnetic particle or liquid penetrant non-destructive tests of raw materials and finished products. Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and supervision to trainees and Level I personnel in the technique/method for which they are certified. Be capable of developing written instructions from approved general procedures by the responsible Level III. Be familiar with codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method utilized. Submit samples to metallurgy lab for sectioning & evaluation of questionable indications. Generate a discrepancy report if indications are rejectable. Apply inspection stamp as required. Required Skills
