Project Engineer

As Project Engineer, you will be the technical focal point for our projects. Our Project Engineers are responsible for the technical performance and engineering schedule and cost aspects of their programs as a single point of contact for HS. All Engineering functional departments take their lead from the Project Engineer. All interaction between Engineering personnel and other organizations is directed through the Project Engineer to maintain continuity on the project. The life cycle includes proposals, requirements development, specifications, product design, verification/validation, acceptance testing and post delivery support.
Project Engineers develop Engineering Plans, cost estimates, schedules, risk identification, and staffing requirements. As Project Engineer you will interface with our prime customer and internal customers such as program management, operations, and quality departments. Having and developing key relationships with our customers is an important part of this position.
Regular tasks include monitoring the project' tasks, interfacing with the engineers on the project, membership in the Change Control Board, tracking the acquisition of part from suppliers, working with the System Engineering function to ensure the product will successfully complete Verification and Validation activities.
Strengthening the Team is also a vital part of the PE activities. Defining resource requirements and resolving conflicts occurs on a regular basis.

Minimum Requirements
1. BS in Engineering or Science
2. Seven plus years experience in an Aerospace/Defense Design Engineering function.
3. Three plus years experience in an engineering IPT or lead position.
4. Demonstrated experience in engineering planning, proposals, and presentations.
