Public Relations Representative
Major Entertainment Company seeks a Public Relations Representative for the Marketing department. Under direction of Manager, Public Relations, this position will coordinate the preparation of press materials and assets (artwork, screenshots, etc.) for distribution to all appropriate parties including press, agencies, International PR and marketing team members. The position offers the opportunity to write and edit press materials under deadline. The role requires working with licensees, publishing partners, game developers and divisional PR contacts within the studio to coordinate routing materials for approval, promotions, media mailings and asset distribution. This position will be responsible for monitoring, compiling and distributing clip reports for executive and team distribution for all WBIE products. The position will also be responsible for maintaining vendor invoices where applicable.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with international PR teams, developers, licensees, partners and PR agency contacts to provide brand assurance, accuracy and style, as well as routing for approval, press materials and assets for distribution to the media.
Coordinate press mailings, asset discs, media materials and artwork for distribution via in-house or agency services.
Maintain media lists, asset calendars and editorial calendars for consumer and enthusiast press.
Writing and editing press releases, pitch letters, fact sheets and b-roll slates for select projects.
Tracking media for relevant industry coverage - monitoring vendors for press clippings.
Coordinate field promotional opportunities (radio/online promotions) with other key divisions of Warner Bros. Entertainment for select WBIE titles.
Coordinate and attend press events, media tours and trade shows as necessary.
Coordinate WBIE game titles presence at theatrical junkets and premieres.
Compiling and distributing clip reports for WBIE titles.
Assist PR Director with game developer, producer, executive and talent interview monitoring and scheduling.
Assist PR Director in developing Electronic Press Kits for broadcast use, including interview scheduling and coordinating the b-roll crew.
Working with marketing/PR coordinator to develop initial budget needs for self-published titles.
Some administrative tasks required, primarily related to invoicing and billing.
