You are highly successful, self-confident and have experience calling at various levels within a corporation from environmental managers to operations managers to plant & production managers in a highly competitive market where your solution isnt necessarily the cheapest. You excel at managing your activities and sales pipeline. You also excel at finding new opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with current and past customers and are willing to travel overnight up to 5-7days per month. YOU HAVE experience in industrial POLLUTION CONTROL technology and equipment sales, thorough knowledge of power generation equipment, experience preparing proposals for large and mid-sized pollution control systems and enhancements to existing systems, and some familiarity with Federal EPA regulatory requirements. To qualify, you have a Bachelors degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Petroleum or Chemical Engineering. You also have a minimum of 5 years in outside sales selling to a technical audience in industrial pollution control equipment sales. Experience in Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Natural Gas or Refining industries with a solid understanding of combustion engineering and air movement is critical. Having an established network within the industry as a potential resource is a strong plus. You must have a minimum of 5 years prior success selling to a technical audience in a very competitive environment where your job is to replace the existing supplier as well as establish our products and services on customer RFPs, ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships at various levels including acting as the point person on relationships with early stage prospects and strategic partners, skilled at positioning our company to bid on projects, and ability to identify, translate, and clearly communicate customers problems and solutions to our internal engineering staff.
