Green Charge Networks (GCN) is an exciting and growing company in the smart grid and energy storage space, with a particular focus on electric vehicle charging. We develop and operate intelligent systems to accommodate local demand for electricity under existing generation and storage capacity restraints. Working with utility companies (Con Edison, PG&E, etc) and public and private sector organizations (7-Eleven, Avis and AAA) around the country, GCN specializes in solutions that enable the usage of high-powered electrical equipment, such as EVSEs, without causing extreme energy consumption peaks. GCN is looking for someone with a strong background in enterprise development with direct experience in the build and deployment process. The ideal candidate thrives in a growing environment, embraces new opportunities and wants to add to our engineering innovation lab (new product development). This position performs a key role in building software products that will meet future demands from electric vehicles, distributed energy storage, and energy efficiency. This position is on-site in Huntington Beach on a full-time, salary basis.

Responsibilities:
? Lead software architecture and future deployments. ? Develop the communication between our hardware systems for better managing the energy on site ? Oversight of the full product development lifecycle ? Requirements analysis, design, build, quality assurance, and deployment ? Establish work plan for each phase of projects, including allocation of resources. ?
? Evaluate project definition to formulate conceptual design and technical requirements, including analyzing the
project for its technical feasibility regarding engineering, producibility and cost implications.
Provide input to Engineering, Manufacturing and Management as appropriate to inform them of findings that
are significant to designing or developing improved or new products.-
Qualifications:
? Computer Science, Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent required. Graduate work is a plus. ? Minimum of 6 years of experience, preferably at least 2 years as Lead Developer. Salary commensurate with
experience. Electrical utilities background is a plus. ? Systems experience with batteries, solar, UPS a major plus. ? C, C++, JAVA. ? Red Hat Linux and MS. Net OS experience. ? RT low level embedded. Safety critical system experience is a plus ? Strong working knowledge of database design and SQL. Some experience with SQL Server is preferred. ? Project and people management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people through oral
presentations and written communications. ? Must have a track record of proven performance.
