Our client, a major computer hardware manufacturer, is seeking a SQL Server Database Programmer for a long-term project in Irvine, CA. The SQL Server Database Programmer designs and creates software; analyzes, designs, tests, develops and maintains SQL Server database applications. This position requires:
- 5+ years of experience in daabase application development and programming - Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server ETL (DTS, SSIS) - Experience with Business Intelligence and date warehouse concepts - Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Microsoft integration services on SQL Server 2008. - Experience with OLAP preferred. - Strong analytic skills - Knowledge of full life cycle software development processes and experience in designing and delivering end user reporting solutions required. - Experience in .NET/C# development is a definite plus.
