Unit Secretary (12) Department: Emergency Services Schedule: Part-Time Shift: Nights Hours: 6pm to 6am Job Details: * High School diploma or equivalent * BLS Certified * 2 years of experience * Under the direction of the Emergency Department Charge Nurse, the Unit Secretary is responsible for all clerical activities in the ED including transcribing all physician orders, coordinating admissions and transfers, completion of log book and contacting medical -year secretarial experience. Demonstrates effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills. Completion of a medical terminology course preferred. General computer skills preferred.
