Literacy Consultant
We are looking for experienced and quality-minded Per Diem Literacy Consultants to help train our nation’s teachers on the use of our innovative tools and technologies. You will focus on the Los Angeles area and will work directly with our customers at their schools.
Responsibilities of the Literacy Consultant - Per Diem:
Responsible for consulting with teachers to incorporate data driven instruction
Design curriculum and plan daily lessons
Encourage the effective use of technology
Increase instructional rigor by adding your knowledge to improve our training procedures
Requirements:
Requirements of the Literacy Consultant - Per Diem:
Masters of Education and 5+ years of elementary school classroom teaching experience.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Mastery-level knowledge of early literacy and formative assessment practices.
Experience with project learning, portfolio development, mind-mapping and other strategies fostering student engagement.
Experience with instructional technology and operating systems.
Ability to model effective instruction for whole and small groups and effective in leading teacher group data studies and developing action plans.
Passion for education and ongoing personal learning.
Comfort with technology and troubleshooting technical issues.
Experience with instructional technology and operating systems
